Hello Hello all you DISNEYFILES subscribers and watchers! Today may not be a DISNEY issue or news but this is a very big deal. This is Tania Ramos giving you all your insight news on the Lane Bryant Bra Controversy. Lane Bryant released a commercial for their newest under garments line. Now in this supposivley 'racy' commercial there is a fairly big girl in it in her undergarments. Now ABC and FOX banned this commercial because they said it was 'racy' and they banned it from showing on the channel. FOX commented "Lane Bryant submitted a lingerie ad with the hope that we would air it during the 8pm broadcast of 'Amercian Idol'. We requested that they make some changes and they refused to edit the ad. Following their refusal, we agreed to air the unedited, unchanged ad during the 9pm broadcast of 'American Idol'. 8pm is family hour." Now I believe they didnt want to air it because of the shape of the girl in the video. Lane Bryant is in fact a company for large girls but that doesnt mean that FOX and ABC need to be banning it for that. In fact, FOX airs a television show called 'Family Guy' around the same time that the LB ad wanted their ad to be shown. So what does this all mean? That FOX and ABC are being judgemental on large women, even though the lady in the commercial is a gorgeous women who had confidence in being in that commercial. If Victoria's Secret was to submit the same commercial but with a thinner model, FOX and ABC would let it air just because the model ...
